Numero uno

Hello,

I'm Elaine and as you've probably gathered I'm a fan of James May.
I have been lucky enough to meet him five times at book signings, where it was possible to actually speak to him.
I like to write a comment, when his subject allows, in reply to his Daily Telegraph motoring column. Usually, it's a poem.
I try to make them funny, well, they amuse me. Dont expect any slush, I rib him mercilessly.
They dont make much sense unless you have read the particular column that they refer to, hence, I've only put the stand-alone bits on here.
I've also added lots of my favourite poems. I hope you like them.
